WELCOME TO SØFRONTEN MARINA !

"Søfronten" Marina 55°10,6N 11°38,4E is situated in Smålandshavet at the entrance to Karrebæksminde and Næstved on the port side just before reaching the bascule bridge. The western breakwater was recently extended to provide a perfect shelter of the marina.

Karrebæksminde, a charming fishing village, is a popular place for summer holidays. Here is a variety of restaurants and coffee shops, here is disco, camping site, mini golf course, supermarket etc.

Water and electricity is available on all pontoons of the marina. You can bunker diesel oil at the service pier outside the Harbour Building, and here you will also find toilets and showers, both for handicapped and families, as well as laundry facilities. Experience the cosy atmosphere of  Restaurant ”Terrassen” in the Harbour Building. Table reservation on Telephone (+45) 55450041.

Wireless access to the Internet (WLAN, Hotspot) is available in most parts of the marina so you can use the internet from your own laptop.

There is a child-friendly sandbeach (Blue Flag) with beach volley. Tennis- and petanque courses are available next to the marina and you can rent the equipment at the Harbour Building. An eighteen holes golf course of international standard (www.nngk.dk) can be found only 4 kilometres by bus or taxi from the marina.

Only ten kilometers from the marina the town Næstved is located. This town was founded more than 850 years ago, it has historical buildings and two churches dated back to the Middle Ages. These are truly worthwhile a visit. The town has a wide selection of shops, restaurants, pubs and cafes etc. The small river Suså runs through the town and on its way passes the beautiful Herlufsholm Church and Herlufsholm Estate and boarding school dated back from 1565.
